Positive Mental Attitude
Well Si from
Ozzbest invited me down to Bristol to see them play. Well I have to say quite frankly I'm shocked. Shocked that no matter how much I always think I don't get on with people, my actual life always seems to prove me wrong. I've known Si for a while through general events but have only really started to actually talk to the fella and we seem to get on well enough, well he's invited me down to Bristol for a couple of days and to stay down in his friends pub, admitadly having a extra fan is probably partly the reason why he extended the invite, but still it should be a good shindig and they are rather a good band.
Actually recently I've just been re-finding my feet with a lot of my relationships not just with people but with things in general. Unfortunatly when something bad happens in my life I seem to create a black hole of depression for my life where everything gets sucked down it. Well as a wiser person then me once said:
"Life is just a series of peaks and troughs. And you don't know wheather you're in a trough until you're climbing out, or on a peak until you're coming down. And that's it you know, you never know what's round the corner. But it's all good. 'If you want the rainbow, you've gotta put up with the rain.' Do you know which philosopher said that? Dolly Parton. And people says she's just a big pair of tits."
-David Brent, The Office
I have a feeling I've grabbed my climbing axe, strapped on my crampons and am ready to climb out of this trough.
I also went bowling which always makes me feel good.
